Su un fondo di marmo e ciottoli due ragazzi sono a terra in un contrasto per gioco: quello a destra afferra la maglietta del compagno per arrestarne la corsa. Quello di sinistra stringe una borsa in plastica mentre cerca di divincolarsi, proiettando il corpo verso l’esterno. L’immagine ricorda l’orologio, dove il ragazzo con la maglietta chiara funge da perno, mentre il suo braccio teso ricorda la lancetta.
L’inquadratura zenitale, che schiaccia l’azione rendendo la foto bidimensionale, aiuta la lettura dell’immagine come gioco di forze, dove l’una cerca di prevalere sull’altra generando resistenza. È come se tutta l’energia cinetica della fuga fosse rimasta compressa dentro lo scatto, pronta a esplodere verso l’esterno.
La finta lotta diventa un linguaggio di esplorazione che trova nel placcaggio il suo apice espressivo. L’immagine ferma il confine sottile tra l’atto di trattenere e quello di liberarsi, trasformando un momento transitorio in una riflessione su come anche la fisicità sia uno strumento per misurare se stessi nel rapporto con l’altro.
Dynamics of a tackle

The image recalls a clock, where the boy in the light-colored shirt acts as the pivot, while his outstretched arm resembles the hand.
The zenithal shot, which flattens the action making the photo two-dimensional, aids the reading of the image as a play of forces, where one seeks to prevail over the other by generating resistance. It is as if all the kinetic energy of the escape remained compressed within the shot, ready to explode outward.
The mock struggle becomes a language of exploration that finds its expressive peak in the tackle. The image freezes the thin line between the act of holding on and that of breaking free, transforming a transitory moment into a reflection on how even physicality is a tool for measuring oneself in relation to others.
